To His modest woman of the street, The fan A Ballad, The impulseful ShepherdHow have poets presented women and how are gender issues explainedHaving analyze a range of poesys regarding gender issues and how womenare treated in society, I have chosen to focus on two main poems ToHis Coy Mistress by Andrew Marvell and The buffer A Ballad by gentlewoman MaryWortly Montagu.
